portrait

This is Gordon. He is my friend mostly because he smiles at me, laughs when I tell jokes, and holds my hand to walk around. This photo is interesting because of the natural light shining on Gordon. His eyes draw the view in and look alive because of the light reflecting in them. His eyes are also lay on a third line of the photo. Any distracting elements have also been cropped out.

Portrait

This is my Dad. He loves to work out in our garden and is great at it. He can grow anything. This is a portrait of him in our green house. The green house works as a diffuser for the light so that it isn't direct high contrasting light. I used a wide angle lens in order to get a full body shot. I also included leading lines in the shot. My Dad is my friend because he listens to me, gives me advice, protects me, goes on runs with me, supports me, and makes me laugh.
Do you like it with or without vignette?
